We love dark music. The idea with the Salem was to create a haunted pedal inspired by Old School Sludge, Stoner and Doom.

It's a dark-voiced drive and distortion for bass or guitar, which respects the instrument and the preamp. The 3-voiced switch gives flexibility in the depth.

Salem Gundu pepper is very popular in Tamilnadu in the far south of India. It's a medium hot pepper that we chosen for a medium guitar and bass distortion. This is a very simple effect with a gain control and a volume control. The "more gain" switch controls the amount of gain in the pedal (more clipping). The voice switch works as tone control but without loosing power. The central position is the standard voicing (for guitars), the upper position pushes the mids, the down position pushes the low frequencies.

This distortion is a great stoner machine and it will sounds really different depends your guitar or your bass, your effects and your amp.

Salem remains as symbol of witchcraft. And this is ok for us.
